An original officer’s bronze (OSD) collar badge of the Queen’s Royal Regiment (West Surrey), made to the 1894–1898 pattern worn in the late Victorian era. This design represents one of the regiment’s earlier standardised insignia patterns after the Childers Reforms. The badge features the regiment’s “Paschal Lamb” device standing upon a plaque reading “QUEEN’S”, an emblem long associated with the Queen’s Royal Regiment and symbolic of its distinguished heritage and service within the British Army.
Originally produced in bronzed brass, this piece would have been worn as part of the regiment’s dress uniform on the collar, typically as part of a facing pair.
