An original anodised aluminium (Staybrite) shoulder title for the Royal Anglian Regiment, introduced following the regiment’s formation in 1964 through the amalgamation of several East Anglian regiments. This post-1964 pattern features the two-line designation “ROYAL / ANGLIAN” in bold block capitals. Lightweight and bright in finish, this Staybrite title was worn on the No. 2 Service Dress and other uniforms by all ranks throughout the Cold War era and into modern service. It replaced the older brass shoulder titles of the predecessor regiments, such as the Royal Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire, and Suffolk Regiments.
Fitted on the reverse with two aluminium pins for easy attachment.
Condition: Excellent.
Dimensions: Approx. 53mm x 20mm
