An original Royal Army Pay Corps (RAPC) gilt officer’s quality uniform button, featuring the King’s Crown and would have been worn on the service dress or walking-out uniform of RAPC personnel responsible for the British Army’s financial administration and pay services between 1918 to 1952.
The button features the RAPC cap badge design, with crown and lion surmounting the motto Fide et Fiducia (“By Faith and Trust”), and is manufactured in gilt brass with a shank on the reverse.
