An original Army Service Corps (ASC) sweetheart brooch, crafted in silver and detailed with enamel, featuring the 1902–1918 pattern badge worn during the Edwardian era and the First World War. Sweetheart brooches like this were treasured tokens of love and support, given by soldiers to wives, mothers, and sweethearts to wear while their loved ones served overseas.
This brooch displays the early pattern RASC badge — crowned garter belt design surrounding the initials “ASC” and scroll that reads “Army Service Corps”, finished with fine coloured enamel. Marked on the reverse “sterling” and fitted with a pin and simple clasp, perfect for wearing on a blouse, lapel, or dress.
