An original 1902–1934 pattern officer’s service dress collar badge for the Royal Berkshire Regiment. Struck in bronze for officer wear, the design features the regiment’s heraldic dragon surmounting a 2-line scroll bearing the title Princess Charlotte of Wales’s Royal Berkshire. This pattern was introduced following the adoption of service dress in the early 20th century and worn up until 1934, when the design was changed to match the design of the cap badge. Reverse retains original north-south eyed lug fittings for attachment.
