Royal Marines, 1953–2022 pattern officer’s cap badge, featuring the Queen Elizabeth II (ERII) Crown. This finely made two-part gold-coloured badge follows the traditional post-1953 design worn throughout the latter half of the 20th century and into the early 21st century.
The badge consists of a plated base metal, with a globe surrounded by a gold-coloured laurel wreath, surmounted by a separate Queen’s Crown. The globe and crown are made as separate components with east-west-eyed lugs with a screw fitting, giving depth and distinction to the piece, as appropriate for officers’ dress.
Condition
Excellent, with crisp detail and intact fittings
