An original two-tier brass shoulder title of the Royal Norfolk Regiment, worn from 1937 until the regiment’s amalgamation in 1959.
This version features the regimental title split across two lines: “ROYAL” over “NORFOLK”, in serifed block capitals. This pattern was introduced in the late interwar period and continued in use during the Second World War, post-war occupation duties, and the early Cold War era.

Stamped from brass with clean lettering, the reverse retains the original copper lugs (loops) for attachment to the shoulder straps of service dress or battledress uniforms. This pattern was commonly worn by both regular and Territorial Army battalions, and is often associated with British Army operations in France, North Africa, Burma, and Northwest Europe during WWII. These shoulder titles were typically worn in pairs.

Condition: Very Good.
Dimensions: Approx. 49mm x 28mm

A fine original example for collectors of WWII British Army insignia, Norfolk Regiment memorabilia, and mid-20th-century brass shoulder titles.
