An original South African S1 pattern bayonet intended for use with the South African issue Uzi submachine gun, complete with its period plastic scabbard and webbing frog. The bayonet is a simple Belgian-inspired design with a US M3-style single false-edged parkerised blade, steel slab grips and a press-stud release catch on the pommel. The plastic scabbard is fitted to a stitched web frog for belt wear. No maker’s marks visible.

Condition
Good. In service-used condition with light wear to the steel and minor surface scratches consistent with use. Blade profile is straight with no significant nicks or bends. The grips have some denting and distortion; however, the pommel is in very good condition, and the locking mechanism is functional. The plastic scabbard shows wear but is sound; the frog is intact with secure stitching and a functional belt loop. No structural repairs noted.
