They Stayed a Soldier

This is the follow on from the authors first book ‘ They stood in the door’, both books capture the gritty and sometimes black humour of the British soldier, and give the reader an insight into life within the airborne forces in the 60’s and 70’s, both on operations and within the garrison town of Aldershot. Both books are recommended reading for anyone with an interest in airborne forces.
