United Arab Emirates 15th Anniversary Medal, issued in 1986 to commemorate fifteen years since the formation of the UAE on 2 December 1971. This medal was awarded to members of the UAE Armed Forces and government officials in recognition of their service and loyalty during the nation’s early years.
Struck in bronze, the medal features the national emblem of the UAE on the obverse — a falcon with a ship in a wreath in the centre — along with an inscription in Arabic below. The reverse bears a ring of interlocking hands with “15” in Arabic numerals. The medal is suspended from a ribbon in the national colours of red, green, white, and black.
