The In Service of Peace Commemorative Medal was designed to honor the troops involved in the many United Nations Peacekeeping missions worldwide which help countries torn by conflict create conditions for lasting peace.
The front of the medal shows the symbolic white dove with an olive branch, surrounded by a ring of light blue that reads, “In Service of Peace Worldwide”.
Ribbon: Blue flanked on each side by the red, white and blue stripes of the US Flag.
