Ordinary Seaman William Herbert Jobson, Royal Navy

William Jobson was born on the 1st of December, 1899 in Swanton Abbott, Norfolk. He began service on the Pembroke I (Chatham Barracks) from the 5th of December 1917 to the 5th of March 1918.

He then served on HMS Bacchante from the 6th of March 1918 to the 29th of March 1919, a Cressy-class armoured cruiser built for the Royal Navy around 1900, and served as the flagship of the 9th Cruiser Squadron at Sierra Leone from April 1917 to November 1918. After service, he was demobilised.

Also entitled to the British War Medal and died in 1980.
