Private John Pattison, 19th (Bantam) Battalion, Durham Light Infantry

Private John Pattison enlisted on the 5th of March, 1915. He would’ve served in the Battle of the Somme (albeit in a support role) as well as the Second Battle of Passchendaele at Weidendreft and the Second Battle of the Somme. The 19th Battalion ceased to be a Bantam unit in January 1917, becoming a service battalion. He was issued the Silver War Badge (number B313810). He was discharged on the 6th of September, 1919.
