Original Queen’s Own Cameron Highlanders sweetheart brooch, dating from around the First World War.
Finely detailed gilt metal construction with vibrant gilt centre depicting a thistle and King’s Crown with red and blue enamel, surrounded by the St. Andrew’s Cross, surmounted by the King’s Crown, above the Sphinx and “Egypt” battle honour. Reverse fitted with original pin fastening.

Condition: Very Good – Enamel in excellent condition, light age wear to gilt finish, pin intact and functional.
Dimensions: Approx. 30mm x 23mm
