A contemporary WWII-era sweetheart brooch for the Royal Norfolk Regiment, crafted with a mother-of-pearl backing and featuring the regiment’s emblem — the iconic seated Britannia — in a finely detailed badge, die-cast in gilding metal with enamel. These sweetheart brooches were privately purchased and gifted by serving soldiers.
The brooch is mounted on a polished circular mother-of-pearl base. Reverse fitted with a vertical pin and clasp, all original and in good working order.
