A full-size replacement of the Allied Victory Medal (1914–1919), issued to British and Commonwealth service personnel who served in a theatre of war during the First World War. This version faithfully reproduces the original campaign medal awarded following the armistice in 1918 and distributed from 1919 onward. The obverse features the classical image of Winged Victory, the reverse bears the inscription: “The Great War for Civilisation 1914–1919”, encircled by a laurel wreath. This medal is struck to full-size specification in “gold” plated finish on base metal, suspended from a rainbow-coloured watered silk ribbon. Originally issued named, this replacement is unnamed, ideal for restoration of a medal group, uniform display, or educational use.
