Black leather bayonet belt frog, with nickel roller buckle on securing strap. Style, Mid to late 19th century/US Civil War period. Suitable for Pattern 1853, 1863/72 and Pattern 1876 socket bayonet scabbards. This Frog is wide enough to take sword bayonet scabbards of Patterns 1853 onwards.
