Indian Parachute Regiment (Post-1952 Pattern) Chrome Cap Badge
This is a chrome-finish cap badge of the Indian Parachute Regiment, made to the post-1952 pattern adopted after India’s early post-independence restructuring of military insignia. The badge features the regiment’s distinctive winged parachute emblem. This design has remained consistent through the second half of the 20th century and into the modern era.
Produced in bright chrome metal, the badge presents clean, well-defined wings flanking the central parachute canopy. The reverse is fitted with standard lugs for attachment to a beret or service cap.
Dimensions
Approx. 53mm x 32mm
Condition
Excellent, with a bright chrome surface and sharply cast detail. The lugs remain intact and firmly fixed.
