A matched pair of anodised aluminium collar badges to the Shropshire Yeomanry, bearing the Queen’s Crown, as worn from the 1950s through to the late 20th century. These lightweight, stay-bright badges were typically issued for use with Service Dress and No. 2 Dress uniforms, replacing earlier brass versions after the introduction of anodised insignia in the early 1950s. Each badge features the distinctive 3 leopard heads with a circlet that reads “Shropshire Yeomanry”, surmounted by a Queen’s (St. Edward’s) Crown—die-cast in gold-finish anodised aluminium. The rear of each is fitted with an eyed lug, allowing for secure attachment.
