1914-15 Star, Private George Brabrook, Army Service Corps

Born in Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk, on the 18th of November 1894 to Walter and Annie Brabrook. He worked as a warehouseman previously to enlistment on the 9th of November 1915. He disembarked in France on the 14th December 1915. He was noted as having varicose veins in his legs, particularly in the left leg, due to wearing putties in 1916. He transferred to the Labour Corps, presumably around this time, under the service number 299124. He was then hospitalised in Exeter from the 6th to 11th November 1918 due to scabies and moved to reserve on April 23rd, 1919.

He married Lily Wilkes in 1922 and is believed to have died on the 12th of April, 1971, at the age of 76.
