Restrike of the 1902–1908 pattern cap badge worn by the Territorial Battalions of the Rifle Brigade (The Prince Consort’s Own). Featuring the traditional bugle horn emblem in the centre of a Maltese with battle honour “South Africa 1889-1902”, surrounded by a laurel wreath and surmounted by a King’s Crown, this design was introduced during the Edwardian era for Volunteer and Territorial battalions before the formation of the Territorial Force in 1908.

This replica is manufactured in gilding metal and would have been issued for wear on the service dress cap. Ideal for reenactors, display, or filling a gap in a collection where an original is unavailable.
