Northumberland Hussars collar badge, struck in anodised aluminium (staybrite) with the Queen’s Crown. This pattern was worn from the adoption of the Elizabeth II crown in 1953 until the regiment’s conversion to the Queen’s Own Yeomanry (QOY) in 1967. The badge features the regiment’s distinctive crowned design with the cirlet reading “Northumberland Hussars” and battle honour “South Africa 1900-02”. The reverse retains the original lug fitting for attachment to the service dress collar.
