Description
This attractive and detailed badge features:

A silver-plated crowned Garter star, surmounted by the Queen’s Crown (St Edward’s Crown).

At the centre, a Hampshire rose in gilt and enamel.

Surrounding the central device is the blue enamel circlet with the Royal motto and title reading ROYAL HAMPSHIRE.

The reverse is fitted with eyed lugs for attachment.
This is the classic post-1953 officer-quality pattern combining silver plate, gilt, and enamel—distinct from the all-brass or anodised OR versions.
