An original Prince of Wales’ Own Civil Service Rifles waist belt clasp, dating from the early 20th century, worn by members of the London-based Volunteer Force, the Prince of Wales’ Own Civil Service Rifles. This two-piece other ranks white metal belt buckle was part of the full dress accoutrements used by the regiment from 1921 through to its eventual integration into the 16th (County of London) Battalion, London Regiment.

The circular centre features the King’s crown, flanked by the typical sliding clasp format and circlet that reads “Civil Service Volunteer Rifles”. Marked on the reverse of both “18”

Condition: Good, some wear to the highlights. Clasp functions smoothly.
