Imperial German Seitengewehr 98/05 Butcher Bayonet, made for the commonly used Mauser Gewehr 1898 rifle, Prussian and dated 1916 on the spine. The ricasso is marked “F. W. Höller, Solingen”.
Overall condition: Very good however the flash cover for the grips has been hit by either shrapnel or a bullet which has bent the grip at an angle and would not fit a rifle
