Prussian M1855 Pioneer Faschinenmesser Sword in matching brass mounted scabbard. 480mm (18 7/8″) blade with “PDL” (P.D. Luneschloss Solingen) makers mark on one side of the ricasso and imperial cypher on the reverse. Cast brass grip and cross guard, with the unit markings “12 RA 360”.
Overall condition: Very good, some marks and scratches on the leather scabbard as well as some minor dings in the brass work.
