NOTE: WE ARE UNABLE TO EXPORT ORDNANCE OUTSIDE OF THE UNITED KINGDOM
An original First World War British No. 101 Mk. II artillery fuse, clearly dated 1916, and rendered completely inert. The No. 101 series was one of the most widely used graze fuzes of the Great War, designed to function on impact for high-explosive shells fired from field and medium artillery. This example is of the Mk. II pattern, produced in brass with steel striker components. The body is clearly stamped with ordnance markings and the 1916 date, retaining its original thread and striker assembly.
Condition
Good. Clearly marked with the 1916 dates visible. The brass body shows minor handling wear consistent with age. Striker and top section are intact, with no explosive components present. Fully inert and safe for display.
Inv. No: SC-4
