Korea 1950–53 Veteran Lapel Badge, issued to commemorate the service of British and Commonwealth personnel who served during the Korean War. This attractive enamel and metal badge was produced for veterans’ associations and remembrance wear, symbolising recognition of those who took part in the conflict between 1950 and 1953 under the United Nations Command.
The badge is circular, made from nickel-plated brass with hard blue, yellow, white and red enamel detailing, featuring the map of the Korean Peninsula with the Communist North and UN south at the centre surrounded by the wording “VETERAN / KOREA / 1950–53”. The reverse retains a brooch pin fitting, allowing it to be worn on a blazer or lapel.
