11th (Prince Albert’s Own) Hussars cap badge produced as a restrike of the 1898–1969 pattern, representing the long-serving design worn from the late Victorian period through both World Wars and into the late 20th century before amalgamation. This British Army cavalry cap badge displays the recognised insignia of the 11th Hussars in clear relief, incorporating the regiment’s traditional staff and motto scroll “Treu und Fest”, arranged in a formal and balanced composition characteristic of British cavalry headdress insignia. The design reflects the regiment’s distinguished service history, including its role as a light cavalry and later armoured regiment.
Manufactured in a bright gilding metal finish consistent with service dress and beret wear, this restrike example offers a sharply defined representation of the original pattern. 11th (Prince Albert’s Own) Hussars cap badges are collected as examples of British Army cavalry militaria, King’s and Queen’s Crown regimental insignia, and historic uniform hardware spanning over seventy years of service. The reverse is fitted with standard lug fittings for secure attachment to a cap or beret.
