The Vietnam 1965 Veterans 1973 Commemorative Medal honors all US Veterans who served in the Vietnam War. The medal has also been given to members of National Vietnamese Veterans Groups in the USA. The reverse side reads “Thanks Vietnam Veteran”, a message that was sadly absent upon the return home of many of these Veterans.
