Austro-Hungarian M1867 Werndl Rifle, the first pattern, in a deactivated state. With a 845mm steel barrel, a simple foresight and adjustable rear sight, a standard pattern steel trigger guard and butt plate (regimentally marked ” 59 R.E.R., 4.102), 1280mm in overall length. Marked on the lockplate with “(maker is illegible) 869”, as well inspector marked on the barrel “St 69” as well as “GB”.
Condition: Good, however, there’s a small split in the stock between the breech and the lock. The chamber has two slots milled in it and a block welded in throughout the barrel.
