British .65 Calibre/16 Bore Single Shot Percussion Pistol by Beckwith, London. 155mm (6″) steel barrel, clearly inspector marked on the left side, with a swivel ramrod, walnut stock with brass nose cap and ramrod pipe, marked on the lock plate “Beckwith” and along the barrel “Beckwith, London”.
Condition: Very good, but likely refinished. There is some evidence of corrosion around the nipple. A deep gauge runs across the bottom of the stock in front of the brass trigger guard, the cause of which is unknown.
