An original British Second World War 2nd Pattern Fairbairn-Sykes fighting knife, fitted with a brass handle and bearing “T” pommel marking and broad arrow. Introduced in 1941, the 2nd Pattern replaced the earlier First Pattern and was widely issued to British Commandos, Special Operations Executive (SOE), and other Allied special forces. This example features the correct double-edged stiletto blade, oval heavy-gauge crossguard, and turned chequered brass grip. The “T” mark is clearly stamped on the pommel, denoting inspection and acceptance.
