Royal Hussars (Prince of Wales’s Own) officer’s cap badge, of the 1969–1992 Pattern, worn by officers of this distinguished cavalry regiment formed through the 1969 amalgamation of the 10th Royal Hussars (Prince of Wales’s Own) and the 11th Hussars (Prince Albert’s Own). The regiment served with the British Army until 1992, when it became part of the King’s Royal Hussars.
This fine officer’s quality cap badge is struck in fire-gilt and silver plate, featuring the Prince of Wales’s feathers, coronet, and motto “Ich Dien” above the regimental title scroll “THE ROYAL HUSSARS”. The reverse retains the correct east-west eye lug fittings
