Turkish Ersatz Model 1888 and 1898 Mauser Bayonet, designed for use on the German M1888 Kommissionsgewehr and standard issue Gewehr 1898 rifle. Steel pommel and cross guard with a swept forward quillon removed, pressed steel grips, held by 5 steel rivets, 305mm single-edged, single-fullered blade.
Stamped on the cross guard with the crescent moon, typically found on Ottoman and Turkish bayonets
Overall condition: Good, some damage where it seems to have been put in a vice at some point
