The Ugandan Nalubale Medal of Honour, awarded by the Republic of Uganda in recognition of civilian activists who have contributed to the political development of Uganda, either through armed struggle or civil disobedience, from colonial times to the present day. This national honour forms part of Uganda’s official system of decorations and is named after Nalubale, the traditional Luganda name for Lake Victoria, a symbol of national heritage and identity.

The medal features a circular design featuring hands breaking a chain, with the circlet surrounding reading “Nalubale Medal of Honour / Uganda” on the obverse and “People’s Resistance Struggle” on the reverse. The decoration is suspended from an orange and black ribbon.
