This button features the regiment’s recognised device in fine relief, incorporating the regimental monogram with crossed lances and surmounted by Queen Victoria’s crown, all produced in gilt brass consistent with officer cavalry uniform fittings of the period.
The 9th Queen’s Royal Lancers was a distinguished cavalry regiment of the British Army, serving in numerous campaigns throughout the nineteenth century, including colonial conflicts and major European engagements.
