British Victory Medal 1914-1919
Driver Joseph Rolfe, Royal Engineers (Silver Badge Recipient)
Joseph Rolfe lived in Brixton, England, before enlisting on the 31st March, 1915.
Initially served in France on the 1st of October 1915 under the Suffolk Regiment. He was issued the Silver War Badge (number B/3255689). He was discharged on the 23rd of January, 1919, while in the Telegraph Department, Aldershot, Royal Engineers, due to sickness.
He is marked as dead on the pension card from 1920, presumably having died shortly after being discharged.
