Albert Abrahams was born on the 8th of March, 1897, in Handsworth, Staffordshire, England. He enlisted on the 8th of September 1914 and was noted as having served on the HMS Royal Sovereign, which served with the Grand Fleet for the First World War, but did not see action. He was discharged on the 4th of September 1919.

After the war, he worked as a fireman for the Loco Depot, Great Western Railway, Tyseley, Greet, Birmingham. He died in 1964.

He is also entitled to the Star (likely the 1914-15 Star) and British War Medal.
