Private Herbert Gray, Queen’s (Royal West Surrey) Regiment (Silver War Badge Recipient)

Herbert Gray was born around 1877 and initially served in the Queen’s (Royal West Surrey) Regiment on the 5th of December 1916. He is noted as being admitted into the 18th General Hospital (Camiers, France) on the 17th of July, 1917, age 40, while serving under the 121st Labour Company, ECLC (Eastern Centre Labour Corps) (service number 72196). He was issued the Silver War Badge (number 346173) and was discharged for wounds on the 5th of April 1918, age 41.
