British War Medal 1914-1918, Private Sydney William Jemmett, 10th (Service) Battalion, Rifle Brigade
Born on the 8th of June, 1898, in Holborn, London, to parents James G. and Alice M Jemmett. He served in the 10th (Service) Battalion, Rifle Brigade post-1915 and worked as a postman after the war. He died on the 3rd of June, 1980, at the age of 81 and is buried in Greenwich.
He was also entitled to the Allied Victory Medal
