A collar badge associated with a Volunteer Battalion of the Norfolk Regiment, conforming to the pattern in use between 1881 and 1908. The badge displays Britannia seated with a trident in relief, executed in white metal with clear and well-defined detailing. Intended for wear on service and dress uniforms, it reflects the standard style and construction associated with British Volunteer Battalion accoutrements of the period. The reverse is fitted with original lugs for attachment.
