British WWII Jungle Machete in Scabbard – Manufactured by JJB, Dated 1945

British WWII jungle machete manufactured by JJB and dated 1945, complete with leather scabbard marked “SL 1944”. This original Second World War British military machete is an interesting example of British Army tropical and jungle warfare equipment. It is particularly suitable for collectors of WWII militaria, British Army edged weapons, military machetes, jungle equipment and wartime field tools. The heavy-duty blade was intended for practical field use, including cutting vegetation, clearing jungle growth and general camp and engineering duties where a robust cutting tool was required.

The blade retains its JJB manufacturer’s markings and 1945 date with the Broad Arrow stamp, making this an identifiable wartime British military machete from the closing year of the Second World War.
