British 1853 Pattern Cavalry Trooper’s Sword without its scabbard. 860mm single-edged, fullered blade, with 3-bar steel hand guard and compressed chequered leather grips, riveted with 5 steel rivets. Little to no markings remaining (the markings on the spine seem to be ground/polished out), other than the “double-R” on the ricasso and the initials “S.N.B. 5.” on the central bar of the hand guard.

Condition: Good, little to no chips on the blade edge, grips are in fairly good condition minus a small chunk missing.
