British 1876 Pattern Martini-Henry Socket Bayonet in Scabbard, designed for the .577/.450 Martini-Henry rifle. Triangular 549mm steel bayonet with 75mm long socket.
Marked on the blade “R (broad arrow) WD (War Department), (crown), E, 27 (Enfield Royal Small Arms Factory)”
Condition: Very good, some of the stitching on the scabbard has burst but hasn’t separated much. Unfortunately, it seems to be undated
