British 1907 Pattern Parade Bayonet, Dated 1915 in the WWI pattern scabbard with tear-drop frog stud. Used on the SMLE throughout the First and Second World Wars. Chrome-plated for use during parades and worn while in ceremonial dress.
The bayonet has a straight, fullered blade with a single edge; the cross guard has an integral muzzle ring for fitting onto the Lee-Enfield SMLE, as well as a locking catch on the pommel. The hilt is fitted with slab grips with 2 nuts and bolts. Comes with its leather scabbard with chrome-plated steel mounts.
Marked on the ricasso “1907, 6 ’15” on one side, reverse marked with various inspectors’ marks. The other markings are illegible.

Condition:
Good, as previously mentioned, the markings are mostly missing, but otherwise the blade is in good order. The catch is still functional. The scabbard is in good condition, with some rust on the mounts, especially the chape.
