Dorsetshire Regiment Officer’s Quality Button (1900-1951 Pattern) – 25mm

The button design features the regiment’s distinctive device in relief, incorporating a castle and Sphinx with associated battle honours and mottos and surrounded by the regimental title, reflecting its county affiliation and established infantry identity.

Officers’ quality buttons were manufactured to a higher standard than other ranks’ examples, with sharper detailing and a more refined finish suitable for commissioned officers’ service and dress uniforms. The 25mm size corresponds to use on tunics and outer garments where a larger, more prominent button was required.
