Anodised aluminium cap badge for the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards (Carabiniers and Greys), the senior Scottish cavalry regiment of the British Army. This Staybrite pattern was introduced following the regiment’s formation in 1971, from the amalgamation of the 3rd Carabiniers (Prince of Wales’s Dragoon Guards) and the Royal Scots Greys (2nd Dragoons).

The design features the distinctive eagle emblem—a legacy of the Royal Scots Greys’ capture of the French Imperial Eagle at Waterloo—with crossed rifles and regimental title scroll below. Manufactured in lightweight anodised aluminium for modern service dress.
