Victory Medal, Gunner Frank Mills Baron, Royal Garrison Artillery

Frank Mills Baron, born on the 6th of April, 1895 in Leyland, Lancashire to Francis and Mary Jane Baron. He signed up on the 11th of December 1915 and was mobilised on the 16th of May 1916, being service in the 2nd Depot, Royal Garrison Artillery the following day. He disembarked in France on the 19th of March the following year under the 3rd Army, later servicing under the 191st and 142nd Battery Royal Garrison Artillery. He then worked Base Detail, Royal Garrison from 14th of November, 1917 and presumably until being demobilised on the 13th of January, 1919. He married Margaret Annie Baybutt on the 9th of June 1921. He passed away on the 9th of January, 1928
